Functional Programming Training Camp

After a long day at the Eclipse Summit Europe with a key note on the functional programming language F# (running on .Net) I decided to go to a training on Scala (runing on a JVM). I even found a training camp very near to the Forum at the Schlosspark where the ESE takes place.

Trains - meeting of generations

Today various generations of trains have met in Bauma. Here is a replica of the first train running in Switzerland, the "Spanische Brötlibahn".


Aside many others also one of the famous Crocodiles came along.

Chur - Langwies - Durannapass - Wildhaus - Wattwil

From Chur up the road towards Arosa.

In Langwies to the left and over the Durannapass

to Küblis. Then down following the Rhein to Buchs and over Wildhaus to Wattwil.

Huggenberg - Stein - Hinter Höhi - Amden - Ricken

A cloudy day without much rain - nice trip to Stein over the Hinter Höhi to Amden down to Ziegelbrücke and over the Ricken to Wattwil.

From Wattwil up to the Chrüzegg


then down the other side and up to Hand following some the hiking trail to the Schneebelhorn and the down the Tösstal.
